  • Maunga Tipu is designed for two guests — a couples retreat with a super king bed and everything you need for an intimate, unhurried stay.

  • Yes — off-street parking is available on the property.

  • Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available on request.

  • Yes. The studio is a self-contained, standalone building with its own entrance, deck and views across the Fiordland landscape - set adjacent to the main house, where your hosts live a quiet life. You'll have the space entirely to yourself for the duration of your stay, with your hosts nearby for recommendations if you want them. The studio shares no walls, doors or internal space with the main house.

Booking & Policies

  • The minimum stay is 2 nights. We recommend at least two nights to fully experience everything Maunga Tipu and the surrounding Fiordland region has to offer.
