Yes. The studio is a self-contained, standalone building with its own entrance, deck and views across the Fiordland landscape - set adjacent to the main house, where your hosts live a quiet life. You'll have the space entirely to yourself for the duration of your stay, with your hosts nearby for recommendations if you want them. The studio shares no walls, doors or internal space with the main house.
